SCIS performs project inspections to review the overall project status and the current funding request. Our activities consist of visiting the site to verify the accuracy of the contractor’s pay application and all related pertinent information. We then provide a written site observation report documenting our visit along with color photographs and a detailed description of the work in place.

Our typical report includes the following:

• Site work, which includes utilities, paving, major earthwork and grading
• Overview of the vertical construction
• The financial data and disbursement request
• Buyout status for subcontractors and vendor procurement
• Change order in summary form
• Verification of stored materials including storage information
• Review of Lien Waivers and Notices to Owner
• Trade and material quality and manpower
• Issues and concerns, including opinions on the progress schedules
